1. Overview

PgDeck is a local-first desktop application. It is designed so your database contents and connection credentials stay on your device. This policy explains the limited information involved when you use PgDeck and our website.

“We” / “us” refers to the PgDeck team, the provider of PgDeck.

2. What we do NOT collect

We do not receive, store, or transmit the contents of your databases, the queries you run, the rows you view or edit, or your database credentials. PgDeck connects directly from your device to the database servers you configure.

3. Information processed on your device

Connection profiles, saved queries, query history, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Connection passwords are stored using your operating system’s secure storage (keychain) and are not sent to us.

4. Information we (or our providers) receive

Update checks: the app contacts our update server to check for new versions. These requests may include the app version and operating system, and do not include your database contents.

License validation: for paid licenses, the app sends your license key and a device identifier to the licensing service to confirm the license is valid and within its activation limit.

Website analytics: our website may use privacy-respecting analytics and cookies to understand traffic. Support emails you send are processed to answer your request.

5. Payments

Purchases are handled by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, which processes your payment details and issues invoices under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

6. Data retention

Locally-stored data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall PgDeck. Information received for updates, licensing, support, and billing is retained only as long as needed for those purposes or as required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email supportpgdeck@gmail.com.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your device and credentials.

9. Children

PgDeck is intended for professional use and is not directed to children under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
